Terms of Use

Mas Dhoani, the Maldivian fishing game, and its website. Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and MV Digital Tools ("we", "us"), the maker of Mas Dhoani. By installing or playing the game, or ordering on our website, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game. Google Play's own terms also apply to downloading the app and to purchases made through it.

2. The game

• Mas Dhoani is free to download and play. Online features (Mas Races, the boards, the daily challenge and cloud saves) need an internet connection.
• We keep improving the game, so features, balance, prices in in-game money, events and rules can change in updates.
• Online services may be slow, paused for maintenance or busy at times, and we may end them one day. If we end them, we will say so in the game in advance where we can.

3. Your account

• The app makes a guest account automatically. You can also sign in with Google to keep your progress online. The same Google account signs you in on our website.
• Keep your phone and your Google account secure. Whatever happens on your account is your responsibility.
• One account per person. Don't sell, share or buy accounts.
• You can delete your account at any time: see Delete your account.

4. Fair play

Mas Races, the boards and the daily challenge only work if everyone plays fair. You must not:

• cheat: use modified versions of the app, bots, scripts, auto-tappers, emulators to gain an edge, or tools that change the game or its data;
• exploit bugs on purpose, or make several accounts to raise your ranking or someone else's;
• attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer our servers or the connection between the app and them;
• harass other players.

If we find or reasonably suspect cheating or abuse, we may cancel results, remove scores, finds or ratings, reset progress gained unfairly, or block an account or device from online play. Our server checks races automatically, and some results are reviewed by a person. If you think we got it wrong, email us.

5. Player names

Your game name is shown to other players. It must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or abusive; must not pretend to be another person, a public figure, or us; and must not contain personal information such as a phone number. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule, without notice. To report a name, email admin@mvdigital.tools with the name and the board where you saw it.

6. In-game money and items

• Rufiyaa in the game, boli (cowry shells) and every item, boat, rod, legend, colour or find in the game are part of the game only. They have no real-world money value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be sold or transferred outside the game.
• You get a licence to use them while you play. We may change them, rebalance them, or remove them, for example when fixing a bug or cheating.

6a. Buying boli and packs

You can buy boli and the Liberators' Pack with real money. Single items (a legend, a rod, a copy, a glow) are bought with boli in the game's Store, never with money directly. Buying needs "Sign in with Google", so what you buy stays with your account.

In the app (Google Play)

• Google Play shows the price in your currency, takes the payment, and its terms and refund rules apply.
• What you buy is added once our server has confirmed the purchase with Google Play, normally within seconds. If something doesn't arrive, email us with the Google Play order number (it starts with "GPA.").

On our website (bank transfer)

• Prices on the website are in Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR), as shown when you order. When you order you get a reference (for example MD-7Q4K) and our payment details. Pay the exact amount by bank transfer with the reference in the remarks, within 48 hours, and send us the transfer slip on Viber or WhatsApp if the order screen asks for it; an order not paid in time expires.
• We confirm the order once the money has arrived in our account, usually within a day. Then it is added to your game by itself, the next time the game opens while signed in with the same Google account. Placing an order is not a payment: nothing is due until you choose to pay, and you can cancel an order before you pay it.
• Pay only from an account you are allowed to use. We never ask for card numbers, bank logins, passwords or PINs; anyone who does is not us.
• If your payment doesn't match an order (a wrong amount or no reference), we may ask you for proof of the transfer, or return the money instead.

For both

• The Liberators' Pack can be bought once per player in all (in the app or on the website), only while its offer is shown to you, and its "worth" is the total of the same items' normal Store prices in boli. A second one charged by mistake is refunded (by Google Play in the app; by us on the website). If you already own an item in it, a legend or rod becomes an extra copy, and the boat is paid back as 500 boli.
• Prices in the game's Store are in boli. A boli price can change in an update, but never for something you have already bought.
• Refunds: for purchases in the app, Google Play's refund policy applies; for website orders, email us with the reference within 14 days and we refund boli you have not spent yet, or more where the law where you live requires it. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the boli or items it gave are taken back from your game, and your boli balance can go below zero until it is paid off with new boli.
• Items bought help in Mas Races only within the fair-gear limits; skill still decides most races.
• If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying. Parents can require a password for purchases in Google Play's settings.

6b. Beta testing

• Beta testers sign up on our website and are added to the test of Mas Dhoani on Google Play. We decide who is added, and we may remove a tester, for example for sharing the test or breaking these terms.
• The test version is not finished: it may have bugs, lose progress, change a lot between updates, or stop. Progress in the test may be reset before launch.
• Please stay in the test for at least 14 days if you can: Google Play needs testers who stay before the game can launch. You can leave at any time, on the beta page and on Google Play's opt-in page.
• Feedback you send us may be used to improve the game, without payment or credit.
• Purchases offered in a test version are real purchases charged by Google Play, unless we tell you otherwise.
• Tester reward: during the test, an approved tester may earn boli for taking part (for example, for finishing a number of Mas Races in a day), paid into the game automatically. The reward is for taking part in testing only. It is game currency with no cash value, it cannot be exchanged or transferred, and it is not tied to ratings, reviews or what you say about the game. We may change or end it, and it stops when the test ends.

7. Our content

The game, its code, art, sounds, music arrangements, story and texts belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us (listed in the game under Credits). You may play the game and share screenshots and videos of it. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the game or its content, or build modified versions of it.

The game draws on Maldivian history, fishing traditions and folklore. Historical people appear as game characters, and the story is fiction. Fish species and rules are researched, but the game is not a guide to real fishing, real prices or real regulations.

8. No warranty

We make the game with care, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will always work, be error-free, keep your progress forever, or suit a particular purpose. Keep your own progress safe by signing in with Google if you want a cloud save.

9. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress, items or rankings. Our total liability to you for anything related to the game is limited to what you paid us for purchases in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending

You can stop playing at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your access to online features if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer rights your local law gives you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the game or on this website about important changes before they apply. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

• ގޭމްގެ ރުފިޔާއާއި ބޮލި އަދި ގޭމްގެ ތަކެތި ބޭނުންކުރެވޭނީ ގޭމްގެ ތެރޭގައި އެކަންޏެވެ. އެއީ ހަޤީޤީ ފައިސާއަކަށް ބަދަލުކުރެވޭ އެއްޗެއް ނޫނެވެ.
• ގޭމް ދެވިފައިވަނީ "އޮތް ގޮތަށް" އެވެ. އޮންލައިން ޚިދުމަތްތައް ބައެއް ފަހަރު ހުއްޓިދާނެއެވެ.
• މި ޝަރުތުތަކަށް ޢަމަލުކުރެވޭނީ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ޤާނޫނުތަކާ އެއްގޮތަށެވެ.
